The story about how I met My SouthAfrican Sister
It all started here in Sweden, sitting at my kitchen table. I wrote a message on match.com - a website where one can search for a partner, hoping to find Love. I pressed on SouthAfrica - and chose Women.
I wrote something like this:
My name is Greta, I was born in Durban - SouthAfrica 1966. I'm currently living in Sweden. I am not looking for a partener - I'm on a quest to find my relatives in Durban - SouthAfrica. My plan is to be there within one year. Since I'm going to travel - as a solo female - I'm hoping to make some friends this way - who live in Durban - it would be such a comfort if I could have a friend or two - someone who knows that I'll be coming.

But then I met Lars - I fell head over heels! So Straight away I changed my plans and booked a ticket to Durban! - It became crucial for me to come full circle - before I could even begin to embrace Lars in my life! So I left a full year earlier than I had expected to do - and you and I had only had 3 months worth of correspondence between us.
I finally arrived to Durban - and as you had promised - you were there for me - and we hit it off straight away!
Before I left Sweden - I had booked a B&B - not realising - I'd be living - not even a kilometer from you! I think our friendship was meant to be - and I gained a sister! - My Sister of SouthAfrica!
